LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT

Dear President Obama, 

Thank you for your significant accomplishments, as well as all the good that you have brought to our great country in the 8 years you have served as President of the United States of America.   

While there is always work to be done, you have shown our country, despite challenges and opposition, that if we stand together as one America, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

I feel extremely proud to be an American. The compassion, dignity, tenacity and proper temperament that has been so eloquently exhibited by your presidency has attributed to a steadfast nation.

Truly, we as Americans have been blessed with a unique opportunity. While there will always be challenges ahead, we certainly have come a long way. We must continue. Part of our democracy is knowing that despite the differences, we can still come together on one accord, sharing a common bond for the good of all.

Mr. President, you and Mrs. Obama have given inspiration to many people. Please accept my sincere gratitude, particularly for sharing such positive energy with the youth. 

They are the future. Much of our youth will excel, having greater confidence in their abilities because of your efforts. Many thanks.

Mr. President, I am so very grateful for an improved America. The auto industry is alive and the capital markets are healthy. 

You have minimized terrorist threats. While there will always be security issues, countless people who have served in our military, are now home rather than abroad.  Thank you, President Obama, for giving so much of yourself to others at times when our nation was struck by tragedy. During these times, you endured pain, as we did. Despite our adversaries, you helped our country believe we could stand tall. We did. 

Thank you for a vibrant Medicare system. Please accept my praise and gratitude for the passing of the Affordable Health Care Act. While there may be opposition by some regarding this legislation, millions of citizens are insured who were not previously.

I am humbled and it is an honor to have witnessed such an important part of American history. Again, thank you for serving our country as the 44th President of the United States of America. May God, bless you and your family President Obama.
